AdGear

AdGear is a product of BLOOM Digital Platforms, an online advertising technologies company based in Montreal, Canada. AdGear is an ad serving platform that enables high precision audience targeting and ad analytics for publishers, technology platforms and advertisers. From display advertising to video, audio and mobile web, AdGear helps digital media players make sense of audiences no matter the form factor of the content.

For publishers, in addition to traditional first party ad serving features, AdGear offers deep audience segmentation capabilities through its Dynamic Tags and Data Profiling features, allowing to manage audiences by attaching meta-data based on user behavior, content and context of visits.

For technology and media platforms, AdGear is a way to integrate ad targeting, scheduling, reporting and optimization functionality by using the platform's extensive API. Whether it is to enable a new targeting rule or to export campaign reports to a third-party platform, the API makes available the entire range of ad serving features.

For advertisers (currently in beta), AdGear provides a unified interface that offers media buying capability over ad exchanges, as well as traditional third-party ad delivery and trafficking. An extensive creative model allows for deep in-creative tracking and optimization, while ad analytics features provide insight as of segment performance and media pricing trends.

BLOOM Digital Platforms is partly owned by Cossette, Canada's largest advertising agency with offices in Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Russia and China. In addition to Cossette itself, where AdGear infrastructure powers ad serving for clients such as McDonald's, Bank of Montreal, General Motors and Bell Canada, BLOOM's clients also include Atex, StreamTheWorld, Eloda, Overclock.net, Tetes a Claques, Out of the box media, BV! Media, and others.

Management

Yves Poiré - Co-founder, President

Prior to BLOOM, Yves Poiré has been Executive Vice-President at Fjord Interactive Marketing + Technology, Cossette's digital marketing business unit in Canada. Prior to that, he was President of Proximi-T, an information technology company specialized in e-business solutions. In 2000, Cossette acquired equity in Proximi-T, which eventually led to its merger in 2003. Yves's humanitarian interests took him to Rwanda and Ecuador for three years of his career, where he worked on development projects.

Vlad Stesin - Co-founder, Vice-President, Strategy

Vlad has a proven track record developing innovating digital advertising solutions. In 2000, Vlad co-founded and led Random Seed Technologies, an advertising platform software company that was acquired by Proximi-T in 2003. When Proximi-T merged with Cossette Interactive to form Fjord, Vlad took the leadership of the agency's digital marketing technologies group. Bosko Milekic - Co-founder, Vice-President, Technology

Bosko Milekic is an experienced computer engineer with hands-on knowledge of interactive advertising technologies, telecom networking and open source software. Prior to BLOOM, he was Director of Webcom Technologies at Fjord, where his responsibilities included overseeing the development group for AdCentricTM, Cossette's proprietary ad serving platform. Before joining Fjord, Bosko was a systems developer at a Canadian telecom provider, and an independent consultant. He has been a member of the FreeBSD open-source operating system development community and a speaker at related conferences.
