Company
AdGear is a product developed by BLOOM Digital Platforms, an online advertising technologies company based in Montreal, Canada. Founded in 2008, BLOOM is privately owned and operated. The company counts over 20 passionate employees, a quarter of whom seem to be tangled up in long-distance relationships. We are still trying to figure out how that came about. In the meanwhile everyone is busy managing more than 35 billion ad requests per month.
Management
Yves Poiré Co-founder, President
Prior to BLOOM, Yves Poiré has been Executive Vice-President at Fjord Interactive Marketing + Technology, Cossette's digital marketing business unit in Canada. Prior to that, he was President of Proximi-T, an information technology company specialized in e-business solutions.In 2000, Cossette acquired equity in Proximi-T, which eventually led to its merger in 2003. Yves's humanitarian interests took him to Rwanda and Ecuador for three years of his career, where he worked on development projects.
Vlad Stesin Co-founder, VP Product
Vlad has a proven track record developing innovating digital advertising solutions. In 2000, he co-founded and led Random Seed Technologies, an advertising platform software company that was acquired by Proximi-T in 2003. When Proximi-T merged with Cossette Interactive to form Fjord, Vlad took the leadership of the agency's digital marketing technologies group. During his five-year tenure there, he oversaw significant revenue and profit growth for the group. You can follow Vlad on twitter at @vstesin although that may not be the best use of your time.
Bosko Milekic Co-founder, VP Technology
Bosko Milekic is an experienced computer engineer with hands-on knowledge of interactive advertising technologies, telecom networking and open source software. Prior to BLOOM, he was Director of Webcom Technologies at Fjord, where his responsibilities included overseeing the development group for AdCentricTM, Cossette's proprietary ad serving platform. Before joining Fjord, Bosko was a systems developer at a Canadian telecom provider, and an independent consultant. He has been a member of the FreeBSD open-source operating system development community and a speaker at related conferences.
Mina Naguib Director, Infrastructure Engineering
Mina is passionate about infrastructure and coffee, which may not be a coincidence. An accomplished technologist with many years of experience building high-volume, low-tolerance distributed systems, Mina oversees critical components of BLOOM's technology platform. Prior to BLOOM, Mina has headed network operations for a large Canadian telco.
