Publishers and Networks
AdGear powers thousands of websites around the world. Whether it is for traditional inventory or for rich media, mobile or video, the platform offers a wide range of tools to target, measure and optimize digital media campaigns.
DYNAMIC CONTENT DISCOVERY
Easily maintain site hierarchy in AdGear by dynamically passing the descriptions of sections, subsections, pages and more. No limit on the depth of hierarchy, no need to worry about new content going up. Every piece of content being published across the network becomes automatically addressable through campaign booking - either for inclusion or exclusion. Zones allow to bundle up multiple inventory inclusion and exclusion rules.
Possibility to target based on many rules available via a macro-style language, build audience profiles, pass impression hints to filter out impressions, target based on keywords and content of the pages and much more. Extensive support for targeting rules allows to nest targeting conditions, no matter the data available. Use data from third parties, or share data with partners. Pass implicit user profile data from web apps, build proprietary behavioral profiles and leverage data to your own advantage.
Mobile delivery support
Target campaigns to mobile web handsets, including Android and iOS devices. A full-featured iOS SDK offers the possibility to serve ads directly in mobile applications. Run any format, ranging from standard IAB MMA to interstitials, video and more. Full support for HTML5 ads makes it that much easier to experiment with creative. Be sure to check out technical integration documentation on the mobile SDK here.
Audio and Video delivery
The platform was built from the ground up with the API in mind. Our customers make use of the API to plug in third-party optimization services, integrate with billing and CRM systems, as well as to build custom reports based on campaign and inventory data. For technical documentation, check out the API introduction or drive straight into the schema reference. As always, we offer extensive technical support when it comes to using the API.
Drill down to see what's serving where, at what priority and why. Dig deep into various sections of sites to determine their profitability and eliminate underperforming inventory. AdGear's reports also shed an unprecedented light on campaign performance in relation to content against which the campaign ran, down to the page level. Seeing which sections of the site underperform allows to eliminate them from rotation and maximize profitability of the inventory.
Self-Serve on tap
AdGear is integrated with ShinyAds, a self-serve advertising platform that provides online publishers with a solution that automates sales, finance and ad operations for smaller ad campaigns in a cost effective manner. Publishers and networks can easily put portions of their inventory for sale on a self-serve basis. This provides a no-hassle way to add automation to a sales process with virtually no effort on publisher's behalf.
Tiling, companion ads and batch serving
We've all been there - all of those things are difficult to do in legacy ad serving platforms. AdGear facilitates the setup of complex IOs, whether it's tiles, video + LRec companions, roadblocks, or simply top-layer units that need to be properly accounted for. For pages with multiple ad units of the same dimensions, AdGear can preload all of the creative in one call, maximizing loading speed.
Revenue sharing reports
For ad networks representing publishers, whether it's an exclusive relationship or not, revenue sharing can be difficult to manage. AdGear allows to configure revenue sharing per publisher, and will automatically allocate the right proportions of revenue to each publisher in the network based on their relative weight in the campaign - be it CPM or CPC buys.
Real-time bidding support
Currently in beta, AdGear allows publishers and ad networks to dedicate portions of their inventory to be made available through real-time bidding to qualified buyers. Native RTB provides an easy way to to operate a private exchange or to simply maximize the efficiency of delivery of campaigns targeted against third party data (ex. agency or advertiser data). Our customers leverage the platform's RTB capability in order to better leverage direct relationships with buyers.
